EMCID ROLE
Melanie serves as Executive Assistant for the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID), providing executive-level support while helping advance initiatives that promote economic development, strengthen community partnerships and foster regional growth.
As a proud Montgomery County resident for more than 20 years, Melanie is deeply committed to serving the community. Her collaborative spirit, creative perspective and genuine passion for people, has fueled her reputation as a dedicated leader. Her commitment to service and community engagement makes her an integral part of EMCID’s mission to enhance the quality of life and economic vitality of East Montgomery County.
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Melanie has been a dedicated professional educator and volunteer in local schools for more than 18 years with a commitment to excellence. Before teaching and while being an active school volunteer, she worked as Senior Environmental Consultant for Tower Environmental, managing complex projects and helping organizations navigate environmental regulations with acute professionalism and integrity. Prior to moving to Texas, she served in Human Resources for the State of Utah, supporting workforce initiatives, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
