The East Montgomery County Improvement District congratulates Porter-based sweet shop Paco Pops on its three-year anniversary of selling popsicles of every flavor, ice cream, and snacks. EMCID has worked closely with Paco Pops owner Francisco “Paco” Sanchez since the shop opened to help promote his business and shine a light on his hard work.
Over the years, Paco Pops has faced many challenges, including a few floods and the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, Paco is happy to be doing what he loves and is thankful to customers for making Paco Pops a popular stop for all things popsicles and ice cream around East Montgomery County and surrounding communities.
For the anniversary celebration, Paco Pops decided to do something special and wanted to showcase other local dessert talents. On Sunday, April 24, Paco Pops offered one of two complimentary dessert choices – a cookie shaped like a popsicle in various colors like its popsicles or a traditional cinnamon and strawberry Tres leches.
The desserts were individually created and handmade by two talented dessert artists: Arianna from Sweet Little Cookie by Arianna and Apna from Tres Leches by Apna. Both can be found on social media by name for their contact information.
Paco appreciates the support over the years from its customers and looks forward to the future of Paco Pops.
