In an effort to keep the communities in East Montgomery County informed about various business developments and community and educational programs available, the Board of Directors of the East Montgomery County Improvement District will host monthly meetings, beginning March 17, that will include a short presentation and a time for questions and answers.
“As a government entity funded through sales taxes, we feel it’s important to keep everyone informed as to how EMCID is using that money to bring retail, industrial and commercial development in to the area, as well as improvements to our community through grants and scholarships,” said Brenda Webb, Chairman of the Board.
The first of the monthly meetings will be held at Lone Star College – Kingwood at the Student Conference Center Tuesday, March 17 at 7 p.m. Additional presentations will be made at various homeowner association meetings throughout EMCID’s boundaries, which, for the most part, correspond with the boundaries of the New Caney and Splendora school districts.
