A loving daddy of two and husband of one, Brandon Nash is a Halloween/Horror lover, a multimedia and video-editing guru who has been with EMCID for five years and a Multimedia/Graphic Design Specialist.
Brandon is responsible for producing video, digital and print graphics that promote economic development, events and other media used at shows, conferences, and The Insider. His creations invoke interest in EMCID’s programs and have brought business to EMC. A consummate learner, Brandon is always taking on new challenges and learning all he can, which makes him a fantastic fit for EMCID.
Brandon has actively been designing for over 20 years (he doesn’t look that old, does he?)! He is a 2003 graduate from The Art Institute of Houston in Graphic Design & Visual Communications, received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) in 2020 from The University of the People, as well as completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from the California-based university.
While his roots are from Sugar Land, Texas where he grew up, Brandon enjoys family outings with his wife, Blaise, and two mini-me’s, 7-year-old son, Sage, and 3-year-old daughter, Bryer. He hopes to one day retire to the East Coast, “possibly Edgartown, Falmouth, or Boston, Massachusetts. If not one of those, I’d settle for West Coast’s Carmel-By-the-Sea, California!” he says. His favorite teams are the Houston Rockets, the Buffalo Bills, the Houston Astros, Paris Saint-Germain F.C., and Chelsea Football Club.
Additionally, he is trained in Brazilian Jiujitsu (BJJ) and Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA); plays bass guitar and rhythm guitar, as well as sings! His family started a read-aloud YouTube channel called “StoryTime, Kids!” where they read stories and animate them for fun, educational, and relaxing purposes. His favorite films: Cruel Intentions, Halloween (1978), any 007: James Bond films, and Wolf of Wall Street. A few of his favorite bands and musicians include Killswitch Engage, Zero 7, Sublime, The Smashing Pumpkins, Amy Winehouse, and The Mars Volta. Favorite books: Astrophysics for People in a Hurry (Neil deGrasse Tyson), True Prep (Lisa Birnbach & Chipp Kidd), and The Old Money Book (Byron Tully).
Last few fun facts: Brandon used to model for Abercrombie & Fitch in the early 2000s (does anyone remember those A&F Quarterly catalogs?); he has won numerous Marketing Awards for his designs and multimedia work from the Texas Festivals and Events Association; and has been a WWE(F) wrestling fan since the mid-1980s.
