EMCID’s Board of Directors attended the ribbon cutting for New Caney ISD’s $20 million football stadium located on Valley Ranch Parkway at the Grand Parkway. Officially named Texan Drive Stadium, the 8,500 seat complex includes the largest high school score board in the nation at over 1400 square feet. The field includes artificial turf. Other facilities include a two-level press box, field house with locker facilities, training area and officiating staff room. Also, the stadium includes a community room that will host district events and is available for rent.
Those in attendance from EMCID included President/CEO Frank McCrady and directors Brenda Webb, Katherine Persson, Leonard Rogers, Isidor Ybarra and Martin Zepeda.
