EMCID ROLE
A proud graduate of New Caney High School and resident of Montgomery County for more than 20 years, Miriam Aurioles brings a deep understanding of the community’s needs and values to her role at the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID). Miriam, who is bilingual, joins EMCID as the Administrative Assistant and often serves as the first point of contact — whether greeting visitors at the front desk or answering incoming calls. With a welcoming presence, detail-oriented nature and a commitment to excellent service, she plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Miriam has experience working in the administrative field, including seven years at the Montgomery County Elections Office, where she gained extensive experience in public service, administrative operations and procedural compliance. For the past three years, she worked in both the immigration and nonprofit sectors, developing strong skills in client services, case management, compliance and organizational support.

EDUCATION
Miriam holds an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Lone Star College and is pursuing a BAAS in Applied Administration at the University of Houston-Downtown.
