The Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC) announced that Frank McCrady, President and CEO of the East Montgomery County Improvement District (EMCID), has been elected Secretary/Treasurer of the association’s board of directors. Through this position, McCrady will have a leadership role on the board’s executive committee and will help carry out the association’s program of work

Everything from new buildings at the VFW to heartworm treatment will be funded through the East Montgomery County Improvement District’s Community Development Grant program. The Board approved $157,356.68 in funding for 14 grants for organizations serving East Montgomery County communities. EMCID accepts funding requests for community development grants twice a year.
